A short collection of projects I have undertaken over the past couple of years. Some are ongoing. Some were experimental. All are done for the love of creating (and for hackathons).
RiffRoll
Created for the Bolt Million-dollar hackathon, RiffRoll sought to create AI stand up comedians. It was an elaborate platform that generated standup bits, used ElevenLabs to bring them to life, and included a full social posting pipeline. It also inspired the eventual winner…
ModelMash
When I built RiffRoll, I found that the AI models at that time were just not very funny. So I created ModelMash to evaluate different models by using LLM-as-judge to determine which models were best for different comedic styles. That project eventually won 7th place AND most likely to get funded for a cool $22K.
Diff / Riff
A fun project I created for a Slack hackathon, DiffRiff is a Slack bot that will perform stand-up for your team’s standup. It grabs yesterday’s git history and spins it into a stand up comedy routine. It combines my nerdiness and irreverence in one neat Slackbot.
Dossy AI
Dossy is the company I founded in 2024. It acts as an automated relationship manager, connecting people based on interactions and surfacing relationship details when you need them most. Think of it as your personal CRM / professional network all in one. Dossy is dormant.
Stand Up Comedy
I have been doing standup comedy sporadically since 2008. It has never been a professional pursuit, simply a creative outlet and a good means of refining my public speaking skills. You can see a couple of my videos on this site and on YouTube. Don’t expect too much.
BuyerBot
In 2017 I built BuyerBot, a simple Slack app that would search Amazon and let users request and approve purchases for their office. It was just catching on when Amazon cut off my API access. In 2026 I rebooted it as a Slack agent and submitted it to Slack’s hackathon.
Bobo and the Fuss
In 2018 I decided to try my hand at publishing. I wrote, designed, kickstarted, and printed a children’s book. Reach out if you want a copy, I have plenty. I documented the process on Medium.
