Paintball Excursion June 6th, 2010

Paintball is the most fun you can legally have standing up and sober. There is nothing like meeting your fellow humans on the field of battle and shooting them in the ass with pneumatically propelled dye packs. I am planning a trip and you are coming.

The Details

• What: A full day of Paintballing
• Where: Skirmish, USA
• Who: You, your friends, your cousins, your hired help, and anyone you secretly resent and cannot wait to peg with high-velocity paint
• When: June 6th, 2010. The bus leaves NYC from Area X at the Port Authority Bus Terminal (on 41st between 8th and 9th) at 6:45 AM, arrives at Skirmish around 9 and gets back to NYC around 8 PM.
• How much: $100 per person. It includes round trip bus, all-day field pass, gun rental, camouflage rental, mask and belt rental, paintballs, and gratuities for the driver and field guide. It may include lunch if I cover my costs this time.

To get the group rates I need at least 20 people, so sign up early so I can get a preliminary head count. The $100 includes everything but food (however if all costs are covered and there is extra cash it will go toward group food and beer). You can bring lunch or buy food there. We will be meeting at Area X at the Port Authority Bus Terminal (on 41st between 8th and 9th) at 6:30 AM and the bus will leave at 6:45 AM. Please be paid up before getting on the bus. Cash on the spot is fine, cash in my hand before the trip is preferred. If you must, you can PayPal $104 (to cover paypal fees) to me. A PayPal button will appear once you sign up or log in.

A few notes:

• I am paying for the bus up front and it only holds 55 people, so it is quite important that you sign up ASAP. I do expect this thing to sell out!
• The bus will be leaving at 6:45 AM. The meeting place is Area X at the Port Authority Bus Terminal (on 41st between 8th and 9th). If you miss the bus, I can't refund you.
• Depending on what the whole thing winds up costing given the number of people, I may have extra cash to buy us all pizza for lunch. Don't count on it, but that is the plan if there is extra money, or I'll refund some cash back. I'm not looking to profit, just to cover my costs.
• If I do not have at least 20 people signed up before May 23rd I will have to cancel the whole thing.
• Please plan to come on the bus and not in your own car. That way we can all drink beer together and compare welts on the way home. I also can't do cheaper fare if you come on your own and meeting up gets very tricky.
• I am a slow-moving, easy target. You will enjoy shooting me and watching me whine. That alone is worth the price of admission.
